Free Coaching – Under 9 and Above ES Marks - Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-6pm Eastern Suburbs believes that our athletes benefit
from professional coaching. The benefits are to be found in improved
individual competencies and increased satisfaction. Inevitably, this will
leads to better performances for those athletes who compete at Zone, Regional
and State Championships. Coaching at E.S. Marks athletics field, Anzac Parade, Kensington The Centre is pleased to be able to offer free coaching by professional coaches after school on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons. The coaching program is dependent on securing sponsorship and can only continue if funding allows. Our Head Coach is Mal Baker, a Level 4 coach with many years of experience coaching Little Athletes, including the NSW State Team. The coaching team under his leadership saw 30 per cent of all Eastern Suburbs athletes, who made it through to the 2009 Regional Carnival, go on to qualify for the State Carnival. We are offering coaching for U9s and above in the disciplines of sprints/hurdles, distance running, throws and jumps.
